Calzones
This is a recipe my sister in law got from a friend. We haven't tried it but it sounds really good. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:
9 Rhodes Texas rolls, thawed but still cold
*Filling*
1/2 cup diced ham
1 (2 1/4 oz) can sliced olives
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
1/4 chopped green peppers
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1 cup heated pizza sauce
*Easy Pizza Sauce*
8 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
stir all together.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Flatten each roll into an 8-inch circle. Combine ham, olives, mushrooms, green peppers and cheese. Place 1/4 cup ham mixture on each circle. Fold dough over (like a turnover) and seal edges with a fork. Place on a baking sheet sprayed with non stick cooking spray. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Dip in heated pizza sauce.
